
HUNTER & COLE Frontiers4Men sat down with online porn superstars Hunter and Cole to discuss their XTube celebrity status, brand-spanking-new website MaverickMen.com and their latest venture, a tell-all book. Alright, so someone give me the quick version of how you guys met and got together. Cole: We met at a friend's party. Hunter was invited by one of his frat brothers, and I was invited by my best friend. We met at the party and it was instant attraction right there and then. Fifteen minutes after we met, we actually ended up hooking up right there. And the rest is history. How long ago was that? Cole: Over 10 years. For readers who may be unfamiliar with you guys, give me a description of your videos. Cole: It's all reality-based amateur porn, and we bring in a third guy who's always a fan that has contacted us about being in a video, and we kinda take it from there. We're both dominant tops in our videos. We really like submissive boys, and a lot of the time, because we get hit up by a lot of them, guys want to lose their virginity to us, which is why we started the Virgin Cherry Pop videos, which have become the most popular ones. Since we're both tops, it's a great way for us to both have our cake and eat it too and experience a bottom. How long ago did you guys start making videos, and what was the motivation behind putting them online? Cole: I've always carried my camera with me everywhere, since I was a little kid. I was always taking pictures. Having my camera with me all the time led to me snapping pictures of inappropriate stuff, then sex and then us being together. I had all of these hot pictures and then it just went into me doing videos of Hunter and me having sex. We were just sitting on this content, and a couple close friends I showed it to said we should do something with it, so I thought just for fun I'd throw one or two of the clips up on XTube for free. Then we got so many really flattering, great responses that we were shocked. It was just fun to hear what people had to say and what they wanted to see more of. Then, when I started familiarizing myself with XTube, I saw that the numbers were pretty staggering of the people who were looking at the site. It was exciting. So we went from there and threw a bunch of different clips up there and people started going crazy. The numbers were so huge that the administrators of XTube hit us up and said we were crazy for not selling this content. Hunter: And that all started about three years ago. Let's talk about the new website. How old is it now? Cole: It's a baby. Hunter: It's in its third month. You guys have quite a lot of content on the site for only starting up three months ago. And some of the web content is the footage from XTube, correct? Cole: Well, XTube limits you in the size and length of the videos you have on there. I have videos on XTube that are 15, maybe 25 minutes maximum, and I had to cut them down to nothing. So with our new site, just about all of our content is sometimes two or three times longer. It's great stuff that I'm so glad I'm able to put in instead of having to cut out. I used to sit down at night sometimes and think, "I can't believe I have to cut this part out - it's so hot!" but we had to really do triage on our stuff. Now we don't have to do that. Hunter: And that additional footage that always got cut - it really just added so much more, and makes it more fun for people to watch. People freak out over it more when it's unedited and uncut. Cole: We also have a lot of new stuff that's exclusive to MaverickMen.com that we're not putting on XTube. Are you guys going to continue putting stuff on XTube, or are you keeping the XTube page but all the new stuff will go on MaverickMen.com? Cole: We're gonna do both. MaverickMen is kinda our baby, and we're gonna put a lot of new and exclusive content on there, but we're never gonna lose XTube, because I feel like they gave us our start. How do you guys traditionally go about finding a third for your videos? Hunter: The guys that are in the videos with us are all fans that have contacted us about being in videos. We get hit up by a lot of guys every day. A lot of our work day everyday is returning emails we get from guys. A lot of them are younger guys who wanna star in a video. Cole: We've also been invited a few times by the guys from Manhunt and On The Hunt to go on shoots, and if we meet someone we like or think someone is super hot, they will basically let us do what we want to do, which has been great, because there are a couple guys that Hunter has been in love with for so long. Hunter: We have to have a connection, that spark, and all be equally into each other and the idea of doing it, because that gets us excited and I think it kinda comes through in what we do. Are you guys naturally attracted to the same guys, or is that sometimes an issue? Cole: It's kinda an issue, but there are just basic things that we really like. Like, we like a hairy ass. [Laughs] We don't like a shaved ass or a waxed boy pussy. We kinda like 'guy' guys. But, that said, sometimes femmy boys, if they're really cute, that's not a problem either. Our taste is all over the place. It's really about niceness first, sexiness and then a hairy ass. [Laughs] You guys travel a lot. I actually met you guys in Provincetown over Carnaval week. Do you have any future trips already planned out? Cole: Well, we love P-Town. We stay at the Crown & Anchor whenever we go because we love it there. It's got everything you need. We try to go to P-Town a lot. Hunter: And we definitely have a lot of fans overseas - in the UK specifically. There are a lot of really cute boys who wanna shoot videos with us in the UK, so we've gotta make a trip over there to meet some of 'em. Tell me about the new book.How did that come about? Cole: We got approached by this publisher and he seemed to just know our content like the back of his hand.He knew every video and every detail. And he said he'd like to work with us and do a book. He thinks we should write a book. I always kept a journal, so it was pretty easy to put that into book form. We said we were willing to talk with him, so he flew in a couple of times and we met. And it definitely didn't hurt that he is gorgeous. He's a beautiful, beautiful guy. Hunter: Yeah, I pretty much threw myself at him. Cole: He said if the book becomes a best seller, we'll talk about him being in a video with us. Oh yeah? That's hot. Cole: I asked him, since the book will be available on eBook and the Kindle and iPad and all that other stuff, if there was any way to link it to our website and to our videos that we talk about in the book. After quite a while of trying to figure that out, we worked it out. So we have this very original, very unique concept with the book. You'll be flipping through the pages reading this book, reading a story about us, and there will actually be a link there that will actually link you to that video. Hunter: The book serves to give further context to the videos that we have live right now. So what is the premise of the book? It starts with how you guys met, but does it focus on your sexcapades or you guys' relationship or all of it? Cole: It's all about our relationship, and the sexcapades are in there because obviously our relationship involved people who came over and made videos with us and became our friends and in some cases lived here with us. So it tells the stories of some of the boys who lived with us and traveled with us and when we fcked. It gets into the X-rated specifics, but it also tells about losing apartments or getting a job or drama in our lives. It's pretty cool. Hunter:* It also gives further insight into how we did it in the first place. What we went through to get on XTube and how things became popular - it's an insight into all that as well.
